Our founder, Jo, began the Aurora Designer journey back in 2015 when she was searching for her own wedding bands. She found the selection of unique and affordable jewelry lacking for her own tastes - and realized that she couldn’t be the only one who felt that way! With an inquisitive mind and an innate love for natural gemstones, Jo dove headfirst into the industry, immersing herself in the world of creative jewelry design to bring you the whimsical pieces she had always envisioned in her head.
Over the years, Jo has traveled the world to locate the most interesting and unique gemstones she can find. We source materials from artisan and established dealers, working with stone cutters and jewelry manufacturers to bring you the vast variety of pieces we offer today. Jo is passionate about studying the entire mine-to-market supply chain and working closely with suppliers in each step of the process to bring you these natural wonders at a sensible price.
Today, we remain a tiny business based in South Florida. Our small team of local staff works tirelessly to answer your questions day in and day out, take all photographs/videos in-house, manage our online presence, and translate your custom requests into beautiful, finished jewelry pieces.
Our ultimate goal is to provide unique jewelry pieces made with delicate care and attention to detail that you won’t find at your local chain jewelry store. From your imagination to something you can hold in your hands, we are here for you every step of the way. We are not your average jewelry shop; we embrace being “different” and we are here to make your jewelry dreams come true.

Jo is the founder and primary designer for our brand. She wears many hats and dabbles in just about every aspect of this business. Jo does the purchasing and sorting of most of the stones used in our jewelry, and all of the designing you see from our shop.
Linda helps with photo / videographing and the inventory of our stones.
She is the treasury of the local Gem and Mineral Club. She also loves to create beautiful chainmail and bead jewelry.
Stephanie takes her experience as a buyer to the jewelry world and helps with customer service, product management, social media and email marketing.
She is also the model for our jewelry and shows off all of our pieces beautifully!
