The vajra is a ritual tool and symbol in Tibetan Buddhism. It represents the energy of enlightenment, spiritual power, and the ability to break worldly attachments. The vajra is often described as a bolt of lightning with the indestructible quality of a diamond. It has four prongs at each end that curve around to form a lotus-bud shape.
